Group Counselling

The Schlifer Clinic offers a number of open and closed counselling groups throughout the year.

Information on the groups is available below, including how to register, if registration is required.  Please check back regularly to learn of added groups, or follow us on Instagram,  Facebook and Twitter to receive updates.

There is strength in numbers. Sometimes the best thing is to sit down with other women who are also in your situation and learn from each other how to cope and recover.

Open Studio: Queer Series

Designed for and by queer folks who have experienced gender-based violence.

We invite women (self-identified), non-binary, intersex, gender diverse, and Two Spirit people to attend our community quilting series and explore your “self” in relationship with the arts and mindfulness practices. Create patches as reminders of your resources, strengths and community.  Diverse approaches to creating textile patches will be explored in each group.  Folks can choose to contribute printed fabric copies or original textile works to a community quilt for public display.
